When was the last time you watched your husband or wife complete a significant life accomplishment? How about watching one of your children win a sporting competition or graduate? What other milestones do we celebrate?
The Bible says we are to rejoice with those who rejoice and weep with those who weep (Romans 12:15). How does that work most often? We are going through sorrow, difficulty, or trials and we engage others to pray for us and encourage us. That would certainly fall under the idea of weeping with those who weep. That is a good thing.
