Conversations with Carol
This will be a video series. There is no set publishing schedule, but we will get them out as often as time allows. Video production takes a little time! I hope you choose to share these videos as often as possible. It will help if I tell you a little bit about Carol.
Carol is a friend of ours and a friend to many, many more. She has been a frequent ROW mission volunteer. Sometime soon I’ll let you hear from Carol about how those mission experiences changed her life. And that’s what this video series allows Carol to do: share her experiences and desires in her own words. That is important to her.
It is very encouraging to hear Carol’s heart and passion for missions, the Gospel, and for people to experience both. It doesn’t take long to hear that in her words or see it in her smiles.
There is another important thing to know. Friends know Carol is undergoing chemotherapy treatments again. Not only do I hope you are encouraged by the things Carol shares in this series, I hope the series encourages you to pray for Carol. She is an amazing person with a great family and all of them will appreciate your prayers. As most of us know, this kind of treatment can be a challenging ordeal.
You might already know this, or you may have assumed it, but let me make something very clear. Carol’s goal in recovery is about some very normal things, like family and good health. But she also wants to be able to return to missions. So prayers for Carol have a goal that extends byond health and wellness. That challenges all of us! And if you’d like to leave an encouraging comment for Carol on these posts, I’ll promise to share them with her as it is convenient to do so!
