Barahona Gallery Post – Monday
Our day was very busy and very productive. We began at 7:00 with our devotion/prayer session. Breakfast was at 7:30. We were on the Big Red Truck at 8:00 ready to meet the day.
One teaching team stopped in Batey Los Robles. The Big Red Truck then took the remainder of our Barahona team out to Batey 9.
Once in Batey 9, the teaching team started their teaching work. The construction crew was there to put a concrete floor in a family’s home. If you’ve never witnessed a batey visit, it’s pretty difficult for a work team to show up without drawing a crowd. It requires folks to do the actual labor and others to engage the crowd (children) that shows up where we work.
ROW Evangelism teams will engage children or adults with many things. Today, the crew took Bible story props to the Gazebo in the center of the batey. They had a great time and left our laborers free to get the floor done! It does take a team to do missions! Enjoy the gallery.
